Women’s Water Polo Announces Class of 2024

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard women's water polo team will welcome six players to the team for the 2020-21, season announced The Friends of Harvard Water Polo head coach Ted Minnis. Annabelle Bisconti, Sasha Constandse, Annabel Facey, Josie Mobley, Ella Prentice, and Dany Zapata will make up the incoming Class of 2024. In regards to what can be expected of the incoming first-years, Minnis stated, "This is one of the largest classes I have had in my tenure here and this class is also very talented. They will come in right away and help us achieve the goals that we have set for our program".

Annabelle Bisconti | Attacker | Atherton, Calif. | Menlo School
Four-year letterwinner and starter at the Menlo School... DII CCS Champions in 2018... DII CCS Runner-up in 2017... WPAL League Runner-up 2016-18)... Two-time All-League First Team honoree (2018 and 2019)... Recieved All-CCS Honorable Mention honors in 2019... Named to the All-CCS Second Team and earned team MVP honors in 2018... Spent nine years with the Stanford Water Polo Club... Academic All-American (2017-20)... Research assistant for a concussion study at Stanford University from 2018 until 2019... Father Ben Bisconti graduated from Harvard in 1990... Brother Nick played water polo at the University of California-Berkeley

Two-year varsity starter at Mater Dei High School... Captain of the Mater Dei water polo team for the 2019-20 season... Earned three Trinity League Championships with Mater Dei (2018-2020)... Starting utility for five years with Vanguard (2015-20)... Starting attacker for six years with Northwood (2009-15)... Selected to the Futures UDA Youth National Travel Team in 2019... Named to the USA National Development Team in 2016... Received Third Team, Al- CIF Southern Section Division I honors (2018-20)... Named to the First Team, All-Trinity League (2018-20)... Honorable Mention, Junior Olympics All American in 2016... Voted the Most Improved Player at Mater Dei (2018-20)... Named an Academic All American by USA Water Polo in 2019... Made the CCS Finals with Sacred Heart Prep in 2016, 2016 and 2019 with victories in 2016 and 2019...Advanced to the NorCal Finals in 2019... Earned WCAL League Championships in 2016-19... Member of Stanford Girls Club Water Polo (2016-20), CDM Water Polo (2014-16), ODP PACE (2017) and ODP SOPAC (2015-16)... Earned First Team All-League honors for three-straight years... Played club water polo for the Australian Catholic University Cronulla Water Polo Club (2014-15) and the University of New South Wales Wests Water Polo Club (2016-present)... Named captain of the School Sport Australia All Australian Girls Team in 2018... Earned Sportswoman of the Year Highly Commended, the Highest Achievement in Sport Award, and the Ruth Hackney Memorial Award for Australian Team Representative in 2018...
