Natasha Gonzalez Awarded ITA Northeast's Arthur Ashe Award

Natasha Gonzalez '20 was awarded the Arthur Ashe Award for the ITA's Northeast Region.

TEMPE, Ariz. - Adding to her already impressive trophy case, Natasha Gonzalez has been honored with the 2020 Arthur Ashe Leadership and Sportsmanship award for the Northeast Region, as anounced by the ITA this morning (May 18). Gonzalez, the 2019-20 team co-captain, has also been named to the Spring 2020 Academic All-Ivy team. In her final season, Gonzalez paced the Crimson with 22 wins, adding to her career total of 128 victories which is good for the third most by a HWT student-athlete since 2000. 

Gonzalez and the other 11 regional winners are now eligible for the national award, which will be announced next Monday during a special virtual awards ceremony. The awards ceremony can be viewed on the ITA's TwitterFacebook, and Youtube.
