Women's Swimming and Diving Announces 2020-21 Team Captains

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Stephanie Wriede Morawski '92, The Costin Family Head Coach for Harvard women's swimming and diving announces the team's 2020-21 captains, rising seniors Elizabeth Holmes, Georgina Milne and Cassandra Pasadyn. The Crimson trio, along with the rest of their senior class, are excited to lead the 2020-21 squad.

A versatile swimmer with the ability to swim all strokes, Holmes will utilize her upbeat personality from the team's spirit and pump up committee to help guide the Crimson next season. Appearing in seven dual meets in 2019-20, she posted a personal-best in the 100-yard backstroke, clocking in with a time of 58.87 at the annual Harvard-Yale-Princeton meet.

Milne joins her fellow spirit and pump up committee member, Holmes, as one of the Crimson's three captains. As a junior, Milne excelled on the diving boards, securing the 3-meter individual Ivy League title and qualified for the NCAA Championships with a fourth-place finish on the 3-meter board at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships. Additionally, she was named a CSCAA All-American. 

A member of two Ivy championships teams, Pasadyn adds another leadership position to her resume to round out the three Harvard captains. Her caring and generous personality, she has served as a mentor to the Crimson first-years as well as is a leader for the program's involvement in "ProjectSwim."
