As the top seed at heavyweight at the start of the tournament, Slavikouski did not disappoint. He earned his second pin of the year against LIU's Maguire Horl before knocking off Drexel's Sean O'Malley in the quarterfinals via a 4-1 decision to advance to championship semifinals tomorrow morning.
Senior Hunter Ladnier went 2-1 at 157 pounds on day one. The Ohio native won his first bout, defeating Navy's Jack Stanton-Taddeo by major decision 11-2, but fell to, host, Lehigh's Josh Humphrey by a 9-0 major decision. He concluded the day with a 4-2 decision over Franklin & Marshall's Cole Aaron.
