CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Junior goalkeeper Grace Rotondo was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced today (March 9).

Rotondo was excellent in net for Harvard in two wins against Boston University and Villanova. She recorded four saves in a 13-4 win over BU on Wednesday and added eight saves against the Wildcats on Saturday in a 16-5 win. She also matched a team high with nine ground balls over the course of two games, and had three caused turnovers.

Rotondo has started all six games in net for Harvard and is ninth in the NCAA and tops in the Ivy League with a 7.93 goals-against average.

Harvard hosts New Hampshire on Wednesday (March 11) in a 4 p.m. contest and Binghamton on Saturday (March 14) in a 12 p.m. contest this week.
