CAMBRIDGE, Mass- No. 7 Harvard women's fencing (10-8) made a statement with a 21-6 victory over NYU at home on Sunday afternoon.
First-year Maria Theodore returned to the strip from injury without missing a beat. Theodore posted a 2-1 record on the day. The sabre squad went 8-1 against NYU en route to the Crimson's 24th straight victory over the Violets.
Three of Harvard's six losses on the day came from forfeits with the Crimson fencing down one fencer in the foil event.
- Five Crimson fencers posted perfect 3-0 records on the day.
- The sabre and foil squads lead the way both going 8-1.
- Harvard improves to 24-0 against NYU all-time.

The Crimson will return to Cambridge for the Ivy League Championships from February 8-9. Those matches are scheduled to take place at the Gordon Indoor Track and be broadcast on ESPN+.
