CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Junior Nellie Ide and sophomore James Kitch will represent the Crimson at the NCAA Skiing Championships, March 11-14. The duo will cover four races at the championships; Ide will compete in the women's slalom and giant slalom, while Kitch will race in men's freestyle and classic races. The event will be webcast live on NCAA.com.
The alpine races are slated for Wednesday, March 11, and Friday, March 13. Ide will start off the championships competing in the giant slalom on Wednesday, followed by the slalom on Friday. On the nordic side of competition, Kitch will race in the freestyle on Thursday, March 12, and end out the championships with the classic race on Saturday, March 14.

- Ide goes into the NCAA Championships seeded 13th in the slalom, and 37th in the giant slalom, ranking 15th overall.
- Kitch is ranked seventh overall, seeded seventh in the 20k and 18th in the 10k.
- Through the course of the season, Ide notched a top-15 performance in five of the six carnivals.
- Kitch is coming off of his best weekend of the season, recording a personal-best second-place finish in the men's 15k classic race at the EISA Regional Championships on February 29.
The NCAA Championships mark the end of the 2019-20 season for the Harvard ski team.
