CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- The Harvard ski team is set to travel back to Maine this weekend, Feb. 7-8 for the Bates Carnival. The alpine squad will compete at Sunday River in Newry, while the nordic group is scheduled to race in Rumford at Black Mtn.
The alpine team will begin the carnival contesting in the giant slalom on Friday, Feb. 7 and will finish the weekend off with slalom on Saturday, Feb. 8. The nordic action will commence with the 15km/20km classic races on day one, followed by the 5km/10km freestyle races on the second day of the carnival.
