CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The Harvard sailing team has announced the addition of two newcomers in its Class of 2024. The Crimson will welcome Marbella Marlo and Lachlain McGranahan to its squad for the 2020-21 season.
The Crimson come off a shortened, but successful 2019-20 campaign, collecting 11 NEISA honors. Head coach Michael O'Connor, the 2019-20 NEISA Coach of the Year, led the team to 15 top-five finishes, including a victory in both the fall and spring season. First-year Sarah Burn collected NEISA Rookie of the Year honors, while senior Jessica Williams was named the NEISA Women's Crew of the Year.

Multi-sport athlete, competing on the varsity soccer, swimming and sailing teams… Captain of the varsity sailing team at Ransom Everglades High School for the 2019-20 year… Took home first place at the ISSA Keelboat National Championship, winning the Mendleblatt Trophy… Part of the No. 1-ranked team in the SAISA for his junior and senior season… The 2017 470 Junior National Champion, finishing fourth overall as a team… Father, Devin McGranahan, graduated from Harvard Business School.
