CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Harvard men's volleyball team defeated Barton, 3-1, to earn its fourth-straight win of the season and move to 6-2 (1-0 EIVA). The Crimson won the first set, 25-15, before dropping a closely-contested second set, 26-24. However, Harvard would come back to take the next two sets by set scores of 25-23 and 25-16 to earn the victory.
Offensively, five members of the Crimson earned above a .300 hitting percentage. First-year Ethan Smith led the team, hitting .700 with seven kills on 10 attacks and zero errors. Sophomore Campbell Schoenfeld totaled a team-high 17 kills, while hitting at a .406 clip. Senior captain Matthew Ctvrtlik led Harvard in assists with 40.
Defensively, Schoenfeld tallied seven digs to lead the Crimson. Smith and McCrary each had one solo block and Smith added another three block assists onto his total. McCrary, Schmit and Schoenfeld each had two block assists on the night.

- Harvard earned a team hitting percentage of .396.
- Schoenfeld posted zero receiving errors.
The Crimson returns to the Malkin Athletic Center tomorrow, Feb. 8, to face Mount Olive at 2 p.m. The match will be broadcast on ESPN+.
