AMHERST, N.Y. – The Harvard men's volleyball team (2-2) dropped its neutral site match against No. 8 Pepperdine (3-0) on Wednesday, Jan. 15 in four sets. The Crimson came back from a 25-18 loss in the first set to defeat the Waves in set two 25-20. However, Pepperdine would remain dominant in the next two sets winning by scores of 25-22 and 25-19.
Sophomore Campbell Schoenfeld extended his double-digit kill streak to 14 games after posting 15 kills. First-year Ethan McCrary led the Crimson with a .786 hitting percentage, totaling 11 kills on 14 attacks while senior captain Matthew Ctvrtlik had 37 assists on the night.
- For the third time this season, four members of the Crimson posted an above .300 hitting percentage.
- Ctvrtlik recorded more than 30 assists for the second time this season.
The Crimson returns to the court at Daemen against the host school tomorrow, Jan. 16 at 5 p.m.
