  • Five Men’s Squash Student-Athletes Earn All-America Honors

    NEW YORK – For the third consecutive season, three members of the Harvard men’s squash found themselves on the All-America First-Team. Two student-athletes landed on the second team, giving the Crimson the most All-America representatives in its history with five.

    PHILADELPHIA – For the third straight year, a Harvard student-athlete has won the CSA Individual National Championship. This year, it was Marwan Tarek who capped off the tournament with an incredible come-from-behind win over runner-up Aly Abou El-Einen of Penn. Tarek outlasted his opponent in the final set to secure the 3-2 victory.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – For the fourth straight season, the Harvard Crimson will have a representative in the CSA Individual National Championship. Marwan Tarek advanced to the final round with an upset victory over the second-seeded Miko Äijänen. The sophomore is now scheduled to compete against Penn’s Aly Abou El-Einen in the final match of the tournament.

    PHILADELPHIA – Harvard men’s squash will have two representatives in the Pool Trophy semi-finals after Saadeldin Abouaish and Marwan Tarek each earned two victories on Friday. Sophomore George Crowne will also compete in the Molloy Cup semi-finals, after two shutout wins on the afternoon.
  • Men’s Squash Sends Six Student-Athletes to CSA Individual Championships

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Only a week removed from its second consecutive national championship, Harvard men’s squash will send six members of the team to Philadelphia, where they will compete for the CSA Individual National Championship. Four members of the team were selected to compete in Division A, Pool Trophy draw, while two others were chosen to compete in the Division B, Molloy Cup draw.

The nation’s top-ranked team will play the winner of No. 4 Princeton and No. 5 Rochester tomorrow afternoon.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The road to the Potter Cup will end Cambridge this weekend as the undefeated Harvard men’s squash team will attempt to win its second straight national title on its home courts. The Crimson (14-0, 7-0 Ivy) will look to capture back-to-back championships for the first time since 1995-97. The top-seeded Crimson will begin its pursuit of the Cup on Saturday night when it faces off with the Drexel Dragons at the Murr Center Squash Courts.
  • Victor Crouin Named Ivy League Player of the Year; Way Tabbed Coach of the Year

    PRINCETON, N. J. – For the second straight season, Victor Crouin has been named the Ivy League’s Player of the Year. Crouin’s 7-0 mark in conference play made him a unanimous choice for the award and the 19th in Harvard’s history. Crouin becomes the first repeat winner of the award since Harvard’s Ali Farag completed the feat in 2012-13 and 2013-14.
  • No. 1 Men’s Squash Downs Cornell, Clinches Outright Ivy League Championship

    ITHACA, N.Y. – On the final day of the regular season, Harvard men’s squash (14-0, 7-0 Ivy) completed its perfect season with a 9-0 win over Cornell to win the Ivy League championship for the second consecutive year. The title is the 43rd in the Crimson’s history, and the team’s sixth under the Gregory Lee '87 and Russell Ball '88 Endowed Coach for Harvard University and James Herscot '58 Coach of Excellence, Mike Way.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – On the final weekend of the regular season, top-ranked Harvard men’s squash (13-0, 6-0 Ivy) will look to clinch its second straight outright Ivy League title as it faces off with No. 12 Cornell in Ithaca, New York. A win over the Big Red (5-9, 1-5 Ivy) would give the Crimson its second straight undefeated regular season.
  • No. 1 Men’s Squash Defeats No. 24 Tufts, 8-1

    MEDFORD, Mass. – In its final midweek matchup of the season, top-ranked Harvard men’s squash rolled to an 8-1 victory Wednesday night at the brand new Tufts Squash Center. The Crimson (13-0, 6-0 Ivy) improved its record to a perfect 16-0 record against the Jumbos with the win. Harvard used seven shutout victories at the top seven positions on the ladder to power it to the win.
  • No. 1 Men’s Squash Set for Matchup with No. 24 Tufts

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In the final week of its season, Harvard men’s squash (12-0, 6-0 Ivy) is set to take on No. 24 Tufts on Wednesday night at the brand new Tufts Squash Center. This will be the 16th meeting between the Jumbos and the Crimson dating back to 1980. Harvard controls a 15-0 lead in the all-time series, with shutout wins in the past five contests.
  • No. 1 Men’s Squash Shuts Out No. 7 Yale, 9-0, Claims Share of Ivy League Title

    NEW HAVEN, Conn. – No. 1 Harvard men’s squash (12-0, 6-0 Ivy) clinched a share of the 2020 Ivy League Championship with its 9-0 win over No. 7 Yale on Sunday. The Crimson improved its record against the Bulldogs to 78-21 all-time, and captured its fifth consecutive win over the Ivy League foe. Harvard will have a chance to clinch the Ivy League Championship outright next Saturday, when it travels to Ithaca, N.Y. for a battle with the Cornell Big Red.
  • No. 1 Men’s Squash Rolls to 9-0 Victory over No. 15 Brown

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – In the 30th meeting between Harvard and Brown, the Crimson came out on top for its 30th consecutive victory over the Bears. Harvard (11-0, 5-0 Ivy) are now one win away from clinching at least a share of the Ivy League title. The Crimson’s 9-0 win gave the team its seventh shutout of 2019-20.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Fresh off its biggest win of the season, Harvard men’s squash will look to carry its momentum into matchups with No. 15 Brown and No. 7 Yale on Friday and Sunday, respectively. The Crimson (10-0, 4-0 Ivy) are set to take on the Bears (5-6, 0-5 Ivy) at 6 p.m. at the Murr Center Tennis Courts before hitting the road for a matchup with the Bulldogs (8-5, 3-2 Ivy) in New Haven. Harvard will have a chance to clinch at least a share of the Ivy League title if it wins both matches this weekend.

    HARTFORD, Conn. – In a battle of the last two undefeated teams in the CSA, No. 1 Harvard men’s squash took down rival Trinity, 8-1. The Crimson (10-0, 4-0 Ivy) were tested top to bottom, but gutted out a key road victory. The win snapped a 51-match home win-streak for the Bantams, and marked Harvard’s first win at Kellner since 2014.

The national championship rematch is set to take place Wednesday night, at 5 p.m. at the Kellner Squash Center in Hartford, Conn.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – No. 1 Harvard men’s squash earned its 25th consecutive win on Saturday afternoon after its 9-0 victory over the St. Lawrence Saints. The win gives the Crimson (9-0, 4-0 Ivy) its fourth-straight win over the Saints and a 6-4 advantage in the all-time series. The 9-0 win is also the sixth -straight sweep for Harvard.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men’s squash (8-0, 4-0 Ivy) won its 24th straight contest on Friday night over the ninth-ranked University of Virginia, 9-0. The 9-0 win was the fifth sweep in a row for the Crimson as the team outscored the Cavaliers 27-2. Harvard moves to 2-0 all time against the Cavaliers in the first matchup since th1 1974-75 season.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Winners of its last 23 matches, top-ranked Harvard men’s squash (7-0, 4-0 Ivy) returns to action this weekend to battle No. 9 Virginia and St. Lawrence at the Murr Center Squash Courts. The matchup with the Cavaliers on Friday, Jan. 31, will be the Crimson’s seventh consecutive clash with a team ranked in the CSA top-10.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - In the second of back-to-back matches, Harvard men's squash shined in an impressive 9-0 victory over the No. 6 Rochester Yellowjackets. The Crimson (7-0, 4-0 Ivy) swept the match, 9-0, to improve its perfect record. Individually, Harvard posted a 27-2 record, with eight of the nine matches being 3-0 wins. The nation's top-ranked team has now won three consecutive matches by a score of 9-0. The win was also the sixth straight over a CSA team ranked in the top 10.

The Crimson kept its perfect record in tact with its 22nd consecutive victory. The nation’s top-ranked team outscored its opponents 27-1 on its way to the win.

    NEW YORK, N.Y. – In its fourth-straight top-10 matchup, the first-ranked Harvard Crimson swept the tenth-ranked Columbia Lions on their home floor, 9-0. The Crimson (5-0, 4-0 Ivy) put together yet another masterful performance, coming just one point shy of a perfect match of 27-0. With the win, Harvard solidified its lead at the top of the Ivy League and improved its overall record to 43-2.

    CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men’s squash (3-0, 2-0 Ivy) continue to show why they are the nation’s top ranked team, as they rolled to a 8-1 win Saturday over the third-ranked Penn Quakers. Captains Timmy Brownell and Sean Hughes returned to the court for their first game action of 2019-20. The seniors both registered victories to help the Crimson remain unbeaten on the year.
