CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- For the third time in the past five weeks, first-year forward Nick Abruzzese earned EAC Hockey Rookie of the Week honors. Abruzzese increased his lead atop the nation's rookie scoring list with a five-point (2G, 3A) week.
Last Friday night against Yale, Abruzzese matched his career high for points in a game with two goals and two assists in a 4-4 tie against the Bulldogs. He now has 20 points (seven goals, 13 assists) in his last 12 games.
Abruzzese (13-22-35) is the nation's leading freshman scorer overall, and also with an average of 1.40 points per game.
Harvard heads to the North Country for games at Clarkson and St. Lawrence this weekend (Feb. 21-22). Both games will begin at 7 p.m. and will air on ESPN+
