No. 2 Men’s Fencing Dominates En Route to Its 12th Straight Beanpot

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.- No. 2 Harvard men's fencing stretches its win streak to 10 en route to its 12th straight Beanpot Title on Wednesday evening.

In round one against Brandeis, the Crimson dominated winning, 25-2. The epee squad made up of first-year Jonas Hansen, sophomore Andrew Lee and sophomore Josh Willcox combined to go a perfect 9-0 en route to the win.

On the strip in round two, Harvard continued its success with a 23-4 win over MIT. Junior captain Geoffrey Tourette and senior captain Duncan Rheingans-Yoo swept the competition combining to go 6-0.

The Crimson capped off the sweep on the night with a 20-7 win over Boston College. The foil squad continued its dominance with a 9-0 mark to finish the competition.
