No.2 Men’s Fencing Sweeps On First Day of Ivy Championships

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.- No. 2 Harvard men's fencing goes a perfect 3-0 at the end of the first day of the Ivy League Round Robins.

In the first round, the Crimson met the No. 1 ranked Columbia Lions. With the bouts going back-and-forth, junior foilist and captain Geoffrey Tourette scored the match clinching touch to secure the win over the Lions. Harvard went on to defeat Columbia by a final of 15-12.

The Crimson dominated in the next two rounds defeating Brown 23-4 and Yale 18-9. Harvard finished the day in first place.
