No. 4 Men’s Fencing Looks to Remain Undefeated at St. John’s Invitational

QUEENS, N.Y.- No. 3 Men's fencing (9-0) looks to remain undefeated as they travel to Queens, N.Y. for the St. John's Invitational.

The Crimson will kick off the tournament in round one against No. 6 Penn State. The men have a 12-14 record all-time against the Nittany Lions including a win in their last meeting, 14-13 in 2019.

Harvard will take to the strip in round two to face off against Ivy League rival No. 3 Columbia. Harvard trails, 40-73 in the series all-time versus Columbia. In round three, the Crimson will meet No. 1 Notre Dame. Harvard trails in the series, 2-12 all-time against the Fighting Irish.

In its final bouts of the day the Crimson will meet No. 5 Ohio St. and St. John's in the fourth and fifth rounds. Harvard looks to take the series lead against Ohio St. with the series currently tied at 5-5. With a win against No. 8 St. John's, the men could even the all-time series at 10-10. The men defeated both Ohio St. and St. John's when they met in 2019.
