Flaherty Joins Staff as Assistant Football Operations Coordinator

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Brendan Flaherty has joined the Harvard football staff as assistant operations coordinator, Tim Murphy, The Thomas Stephenson Family Head Coach for Harvard Football, announced.

Flaherty has spent the past six months working with the football program at Bentley University as an assistant tight ends and running backs coach and recruiting coordinator. There, he worked with players through spring practices and position-specific drills, and assisted with official visits on campus.

Flaherty was a four-year starter on the offensive line at Bridgewater State University, and was elected the team captain as a senior in 2014. During his time at Bridgewater State, he served on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and student leadership committee, serving as an advocate for student-athletes and the football program.

A native of Woburn, Massachusetts, Flaherty earned his bachelor of science degree from Bridgewater State in 2015.
